Biosafety Information Online (BIO) is a program outlining biological materials work that must be conducted by a Principal Investigator while simultaneously outlining regulatory conditions. BIO ensures compliance with the Institutional Biosafety Committee while limiting liability by clearly outlining containment requirements.

Chemical Inventory System

Chemical Inventory System (CIS) is a robust, UC-Wide chemical tracking system. CIS establishes inventory tracking standards for the UC system while saving money by cutting auditing timeframes for inventory managers.

Safety Inspection Tool

The Safety Inspection Tool (SIT) is a collaborative effort between EH&S and Information Technology units at UC campuses and EH&S at the UC Office of the President. The system will be developed to automate laboratory safety processes within each campus with the capability to integrate with existing systems or data needs.
